If you're looking to improve your golf game, the Boar's Head Golf Academy is your one-stop shop for juniors and adults. Not only will this season bring an array of instructional opportunities, but we'll also offer a host of social events, leagues and camps to fit any skill or age level.

Juniors Op 36 (Spring)

Start Date: Tuesday, March 12

Op36 is our flagship player development program, and we are proud to offer 8-week semesters for juniors of all skill levels (age groups of 7-10 and 11-16). Unlike traditional player development programs, Operation 36 is centered around learning through playing on the course allowing golfers to progress through the program by learning to score 36 (or better) for 9 holes. Little Birdies

The Boar's Head Golf Academy is offering golf opportunities for young golfers to learn golf skills in a group setting using games to apply those skills.

Thursdays from 4:30 - 5:15 p.m.
Reserved for boys and girls ages 4-7
Fee is $150 per junior

Golf Out

Start Date: Saturday, April 6

GolfOut is an exclusive member-only opportunity geared to help golfers make lasting improvements and transfer skills to the golf course. GolfOut features specialized clinics each month that cycle golfers through a series of environments and tasks to improve a specific aspect of on-course performance.

Aim Point Clinic

Saturday, April 20

Improve your green reading and putt with freedom during this innovative two-hour program at the member's short-game practice facility. The Boar's Head Golf Academy will teach the simplest and fastest way to accurately predict the curve of any putt. We will guide you through the AimPoint process PGA and LPGA tour winners trust for short putts, intermediate putts, long putts and double-breaking putts. You will leave with a clear understanding and an ability to adapt to different greens and proven training strategies to take your performance to the next level.

PGA Junior League

May of 2024

PGA Jr. League believes that every child can be a golfer. From those brand new to the game to more competitive players, all skill levels are invited to learn and play in this welcoming environment. Teamwork is the heart and soul of PGA Jr. League. Kids play on teams in a scramble format and wear numbered jerseys, supporting and learning from one another to develop skills that translate on and off the course.

Junior Golf Lessons

June - August

The Boar's Head Golf Academy is offering golf opportunities this summer for golfers ages 4 - 7 years old. Each session will rotate between full swing, short game and playing on the course.

Women's Summer Kickoff Clinic

Saturday, June 8

Golf can be a hard sport and can be made even more difficult by the tips and tricks we hear from well-meaning playing partners, spouses or friends. Learn what concepts and tips to avoid but also how to better interpret those messages for your game during this 90-minute women-only session at the Birdwood Golf practice tees. The fee is $35 per person and non-members are invited. This session includes instruction, clubs (if needed), practice balls and training aids.

Summer Camps

June 11 - August 9

Our Birdwood Golf professional staff hosts a series of summer camps for young golfers learning to improve their skills. We are also offering a Boar's Head Sports Camp for one full week that focuses on multiple sports including golf. Let your kids have fun while learning a lifelong sport.

Women's Nine & Wine with a Pro

Saturday, October 5

This fun social scramble offers the opportunity for women to play with the pros! Enjoy a nine-hole scramble that includes two glasses of wine, a cart and the opportunity to win fun prizes. All members are invited and may bring a non-member guest.

Your registration fee includes two glasses of wine, a cart and a shot at winning some prizes. All members are welcome and may bring a non-member guest. The program will run from 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. and has a $50 fee.
