The Nest Par-3 Course

Touted as "golf in under an hour" and designed by Davis Love III and Love Golf Design, The Nest at Boar’s Head Resort is a unique addition to the Birdwood Golf experience that encompasses six short holes designed as an “approach course.” T

he course is an ideal place to practice your short game and is also an excellent opportunity for players who are in the early stages of learning the game.

Short on time? This is a perfect lunchbreak or late afternoon way to get in a quick round. In most cases, golfers can navigate the course in under an hour.

Maintaining Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Status

Giving back to the planet and taking care of the land we call home is nothing short of a community effort. We are grateful to all our members and visitors who contribute to our daily efforts in maintaining our Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary certification.

Earlier in the 2022 year, we had a special contribution from a local student and member of Boar's Head Sports Club in monitoring progress of our sustainability efforts. For his eighth grade school project, Boar's Head member Reid applied research to his reverence of birds, developing a survey of bird populations at Birdwood Golf Course. His project assisted Birdwood in the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary recertification process. Naturally, we wanted to share a little more about Reid’s unexpected results and highlights of his inspiring project.
