Dueling Pianos

Killer Keyz is one of America's top-rated dueling piano shows. This high-energy, interactive show has quickly become a favorite here at the resort.

First Thursdays

May to August: No ticket needed

Join us the first Thursday of each month, from May to October, for a live performance on The Green. Each First Thursday event will feature a local beer and wine vendor, live music and some of Charlottesville's finest mobile food fare. This event is open to the public.

Men's Challenger

Annual Fall Event

The Charlottesville Men's Pro Challenger benefiting Special Olympics Virginia is an indoor men's tennis tournament that feature top-100 talent from around the world. Spectators are invited to see the action that takes place on the indoor courts at Boar's Head Sports Club.

Murder Mystery

Step into a world of mystery and become the detective you always wanted to be. Throughout the evening, you'll engage in captivating conversations, interrogations, and gather clues from your fellow suspects. Each show comes with a flavorful dinner, a new theme and an intriguing mystery to solve.

Oktoberfest

It'll be a weekend of festivities at Boar's Head Resort featuring live music, fun games, fabulous fare and your favorite adult beverages. You can also test your skills on The Nest Par-3 Course with an afternoon of pints, putters and your pitching wedge.

Winter Wander

Event Date: November - December

The beauty of light and the whimsy of nature intertwine harmoniously at the Boar's Head Resort Winter Wander Trail of Lights. Experience the nature of our rolling landscape during this illuminated lakeside stroll as an extraordinary palette of colorful illuminations blanket the natural surroundings for a magical show of lights like no other.

Turkey Trot 5k

Annual Event: Thanksgiving Morning

It's a Charlottesville turkey-day tradition! This 5k run or walk brings hundreds of runners to Boar's Head Resort every Thanksgiving morning to support UVA Children's.

Annual Event in December

Design and build your own edible masterpiece at this ever-popular event. All of the ingredients and construction materials will be provided. Light refreshments and Boar’s Head homemade hot chocolate and cookies will be served. These workshops run for multiple days throughout the holiday season. Annual Event In January

"Xperience" Special Olympics tennis at its best. This three-day tennis extravaganza takes place at The Sports Club at Boar's Head Resort, one of the country’s finest tennis venues and a fitting location for the best Special Olympics tennis athletes in the nation. With the proceeds benefiting Special Olympics Virginia, this is an ace of an event! Tournament information will be available on our calendar of events.

LOL! Comedy Weekend

Annual Event In February

Travelers and locals to the Charlottesville area looking for a laugh can join us for our annual LOL! Comedy Weekend. Welcoming professional jokers from all around, this will be a festive weekend of comedy accompanied by a fully stocked cash bar to get everyone primed and ready for the show.

Blues, Brews and BBQ Festival

Annual Event In March

Connoisseurs of craft beer will revel in a delicacy of live music combined with slow-cooked barbecue and some of the finest beers in our area. This lively, family-friendly event will take place around Heritage Lake behind the hotel at Boar’s Head Resort and feature up to 15 local breweries and nearly 30 craft beers. Not into beer? No worries – we’ll also have a selection of ciders and kids drinks for all to enjoy.

The Women's Open

Annual Event in April

Every spring, women’s professional tennis invades the clay courts at Boar's Head Sports Club. This unique outdoor tournament features top-100 talent and spectators are invited to come out and see the action. This tournament benefits The Haven of Charlottesville - a multi-resource day shelter in downtown Charlottesville.
