Embark on a golf adventure with our 4-Week Junior Birdies Program. Ideal for newcomers aged 4-6 years old. This program blends fun and learning, making it the ideal introduction to the world of golf.

• Class: Fridays 4:30 -5:15 p.m.

Saturday, May 24

 Learn how to improve on speed control, green reading, and start line to lower your scores in this comprehensive master class on putting. Boar’s Head Golf Academy will give you the tools in this school to understand a long-term plan for putting improvement and more consistency on the greens. During the putting school you will get an opportunity to use UVA’s world class putting room and practice facilities with Zen green stage and SAM putt lab to get a full picture of the improvement opportunity in your putting performance.

PGA Jr. League believes that every child can be a golfer. From those brand new to the game to more competitive players, all skill levels are invited to learn and play in this welcoming environment. Teamwork is the heart and soul of PGA Jr. League. Kids play on teams in a scramble format and wear numbered jerseys, supporting and learning from one another to develop skills that translate on and off the course.

Virginia Golf Camps is excited to return its overnight camp at University of Virginia this summer! Hosted by UVA's Ria Scott and Annie Collom, our experienced coaches are eager to help girls and boys (ages 12-18) improve their game and make life-long memories in a fun, Division I golf environment.

Golf can be a hard sport and can be made even more difficult by the tips and tricks we hear from well-meaning playing partners, spouses or friends. Learn what concepts and tips to avoid but also how to better interpret those messages for your game during this 90-minute women-only session at the Birdwood Golf practice tees. The fee is $40 per person and non-members are invited. This session includes instruction, clubs (if needed), practice balls and training aids.

This fun social scramble offers the opportunity for women to play with the pros! Enjoy a nine-hole scramble that includes two glasses of wine, a cart and the opportunity to win fun prizes. All members are invited and may bring a non-member guest.

Your registration fee includes two glasses of wine, a cart and a shot at winning some prizes. All members are welcome and may bring a non-member guest. The program will run from 4- 6 p.m. and has a $55 fee.

Start Date: Tuesday, August 19

Juniors are encouraged to take part in our fall session of Op36, which is our flagship player development program. This is an 8-week program for juniors of all skill levels (age groups of 7-10 and 11-16). Unlike traditional player development programs, Operation 36 is centered around learning through playing on the course allowing golfers to progress through the program by learning to score 36 (or better) for 9 holes.
